PB10000 SERIES

Ekonol®-Filled PTFE

Ekonol®-filled PTFE is resistant to high temperatures and is slightly hydrophilic, so it is preferable to use the material in dry environments.

Ekonol®-filled PTFE materials exhibit excellent wear resistance, and their non-abrasive nature prevents the galling of soft mating surfaces.

Ekonol®-filled PTFE materials are used in seal components for both static and dynamic applications.

PBY Material Codes:

PB10700 - 10% EKONOL® Filled PTFE

NOTE: Fine Ekonol® is used as the standard filling grade, however, black specks may be present when using Ekonol®. Therefore, the equivalent Aromatic Polyester-filled PTFE material is preferred.
