PB10000 SERIES
Virgin PTFE
Virgin PolyTetraFluoroEthylene (PTFE) is a non-melt processible fluoropolymer resin. Virgin PTFE materials have the highest wear rate and lowest coefficients of friction. The aerospace industry, according to AMS3678, uses virgin PTFE for backup rings and seal components with light dynamic, and static applications.
Virgin PTFE materials can be used to seal against steel, stainless steel, chromium plating, bronze, bare or anodized aluminum and aluminum alloys, and ceramic coatings.
PBY Material Codes:
PB10000F - Virgin PTFE Premium Grade
PB10003I - Virgin PTFE Commercial Grade
