PB70000 SERIES

UHMWPE

Ultra-High Molecular Weight PolyEthylenes (UHMWPE) are thermoplastics of polyethylene, with extreme long carbon-chains and molecular weights between 6 to 10 million amu.

PB70000 materials are very though, have good impact resistance at low temperatures, good chemical resistance, good moisture resistance, and a very low coefficient of friction.

UHMWPE has better abrasion resistance than PTFE.  PB70000 materials can be cross-linked by irradiation or chemically and then show improved strength and dielectric properties. Custom pigmented, lubricated, and food grades are available.
